6 Week Wheel Throwing Course
Thursday evenings from 6-9pm on Aug 22, 29, Sept 5, 12, 19, 26.
In this course, students will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel. All steps in the process will be covered - from throwing, to trimming and glazing. Each session begins with a demonstration, followed by time for you to play and hone your newly learned skills.
All clay, glaze, firing and guidance included. Small class size of 4 ensures ample time with instructor.
Week 1: Centering, cylinders
Week 2: Bowls
Week 3: Trimming + handles
Week 4: Tapered forms
Week 5: Trimming
Week 6: Glaze day!
Once your work has been fired and is ready for pickup, you will be contacted via email. As wheel throwing classes are in high demand, no refunds can be made at this time.
